Dental Implant Humanitarian Trip to the Dominican Republic

We are excited to announce that Dr. Visger will be visiting the Dominican Republic this weekend as part of completion of dental implant training. Dr. Visger will have completed the dental implant training hosted by Dr. Arun K. Garg. Dr. Garg holds implant seminars for implant dentistry education. His courses include lectures and coursework, in addition to hands on training. Dentists leave his post-graduate dental education with a higher knowledge of dentistry and the new skill of placing and restoring dental implants. This opportunity is sponsored by the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA) founded by Dr. Arun K. Garg. This continuing education is approved by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) therefore giving dentists the accreditation they need to place implants in their own practice upon completion.

After completing 4 months of coursework, placing implants in Santo Domingo will be Dr. Visger’s last task. This dental service is free of charge for locals needing dental implants. This amazing opportunity will change the lives of many, giving them back their confidence and functioning smile.

Over the course of three days, Dr. Visger will have placed about 40 dental implants. This program in the Dominican Republic brings dentists from around the globe to one of the most comprehensive and largest dental implant education courses that doubles as a charitable mission. The program provides 200-300 patients with dental care that will change their lives.

In preparation of completing the course, Dr. Visger recently purchased a CT Cone Beam for the Trail Ridge Dental office. Patients can now visit us to have dental implants placed or restored.  Stay tuned for pictures and a summary about Dr. Visger’s experience when he returns! Contact us today if you are interested in dental implants.
